First Aid Training

Voyageur Coaching is able to provide both BCU first aid training and that of a more advanced nature which is accredited through The Emergency Care and Safety Institute. Course duration and format varies according the type of training you require.

Unlike a lot of first aid training these courses are very much designed to be of a practical nature, conducted in the outdoor environment rather than a class room. Very realistic and very practical training.

We are also able to provide HSE compliant first aid courses from 1 to 4 day and refresher days. These are run in association with Achieve EMT. Please contact us for more details.

Wilderness First Aid (Emergency care for remote locations)

This course is for people who travel, work or just enjoy themselves in the wilderness and other remote areas. Sooner or later they may have to deal with an injury or medical problem. Wilderness First Aid provides comprehensive skills and information on how to deal with medical emergencies when help is hours or even days away. The course is very different from normal first aid courses, in that as a wilderness first aider you must be prepared to treat problems you would not normally be asked to deal with when an ambulance is only minutes away. These type of situations are often deemed as advanced, hence the need for such a specialist course.
